The Saturdays singer Una Healy has opened up about her future on The Six O’Clock Show.

Una spent last week co-hosting the Virgin Media afternoon show alongside Brian Dowling after Katja Mia left to take up a job co-hosting a 2FM show with Laura Fox.

The Tipperary native has stepped in to guest-present The Six O’Clock on a number of occasions since 2018.

Opening up about whether there might be a permanent future at the Ballymount-based station, Una said: ‘I love it, but I’m just so busy at the minute.

‘I don’t know if I could commit to it full time, but if there’s one TV job that I would love to do, it will be that, because I love working with Brian (Dowling).

‘I’m really good friends with him as well. So that would even be like working with friends.’

The shake-up within the Virgin Media evening show comes after Katja left the station for RTE radio.

Katja and Brian joined forces in 2023 when they took over as presenters of The Six O’Clock Show.

Una was speaking at the launch of this year’s Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby, which takes place June 26-28 at The Curragh in Co Kildare.

The mum-of-two and TV star Vogue Williams will be on the lookout for their Best Dressed on the day.

Speaking about what she is looking for in style, Una said: ‘I’m there to help find the most stylish person on the day.

‘So the brief is looking for vintage kind of 50s pastel colours, like just to kind of give people like something to kind of to go on. We’ll be looking out for style something a bit original.’
