Ireland footballer Troy Parrott has sparked engagement rumours to his his longtime partner, Lauren Bowry.

The couple live in Holland together since 2023, with the Dubliner in a relationship with the Londoner for five years.

They often share glimpses of their life together on social media, with Lauren spotted supporting him from the stands during his matches.

According to Ladbrokes, the bookies have revealed odds for an engagement for the couple.

Troy has been supported by his girlfriend while he is taking the league by storm with his goal tally.

Now punters are backing the striker to get down on one knee by the end of the year at even money.

A 2027 wedding may also be on the cards at 6/4.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: ‘Troy Parrott looks like he is ready to take his relationship with Lauren Bowry to the next level. Punters believe wedding bells could be on their way for the high-scoring striker in the near future.’

It comes just weeks after Lauren said she used to fiddle with her rings to keep her sane when she watches him play football matches.

She told RTE’s Liveline at the time: ‘We both feel nervous about the games. I have these two rings, fiddle rings, and they keep me sane. They are anxiety rings and they are really good.

‘Throughout the day I will be speaking to him on and off, but he is so focused on the day of the game. He will probably text me about an hour before he goes onto the pitch.

‘He is doing so well, scoring, and that has built him up even more for tonight. He is more ready than he will ever be.’
