Tommy Tiernan and his wife Yvonne have welcomed an adorable addition into their family, in the form of their new Bernese Mountain Dog, Milo.

The puppy has already made himself at home in the couple’s Galway home, as Yvonne shared snaps of Milo sprawled out on their carpet. The singer gushed over their new pet, saying ‘it feels like he has always been here.’

It appears Tommy and Yvonne won’t be calling the shots in their house, as the puppy has already laid down the law! ‘He’s the boss,’ the mum-of-three joked.

‘He is unlike any other Bernese we have had as his personality is very strong. He is self assured & confident & has settled in already,’ she penned on social media.

However, the folk singer made it clear that Milo won’t be replacing their beloved family dog Archie, who passed away. Instead the family are hoping to continue their tradition of having the friendly breed.

‘We are not trying to replace our beautiful Archie, we are continuing to make Bernese Mountain Dogs a part of our family,’ Yvonne assured her followers.

People flocked to gush over the black, white and brown pooch, pointing out how cute he is. ‘Oh wow, what a beautiful puppy!’ Louise Duffy penned, while Roseanna Ruane wrote: ‘He is adorable,’ alongside a red heart emoji.

Tommy and Yvonne, who first met in 2002 and tied the knot in Monaghan in 2009. They share three children; Theo, Louis and Isabelle, who are all likely thrilled with the new addition.

The funnyman is also the father to three other children, Dylan, Jacob and Eva, from his previous relationship with Jayme Street.
