The Traitors Ireland might only be two episodes in, but the show has already shocked viewers on several counts, revealing a secret relationship between two contestants.

The juicy revelation came to light in the most unlikely of ways… during a game of musical chairs! Who knew we would be treated to another secret relationship, two years in a row!

On Monday, Diego and Denis revealed that they are actually married. The two contestants have been together for 11 years.

Luckily, none of their fellow contestants raised questions when 40-year-old Diego and Denis, 39, were still holding hands after they secured their seat following a round of the game.

The two Cork men received two shields granting them immunity after being the last two standing during the game, which was played in the forest.

The pair then found a quiet spot upon their return to the castle to embrace in secret. They let viewers in on their secret, joking that they have been dancing together for over a decade.

Diego told viewers: ‘The thing the other players don’t know is that I have quite a lot of experience dancing with Denis, because he is my husband of 11 years.’

As the couple debriefed in private, Diego laughed: ‘Nobody has a clue.’

However, not all of the contestants enjoyed the same love bubble on Monday night’s episode, as two were banished from the show.

The two people were disappointed to be leaving the show so early. 42-year-old vocal coach Emma was the first to go.

She was murdered before breakfast, while Edelle, 44, was later banished at the first roundtable, after being chosen to help the three traitors on their mission.

It is certainly shaping up to be a juicy season!
