Love Island fans may not have seen the last of Seán ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald, despite the Galway GAA star being dumped from the show on Sunday night.

Fitzy caught the nation’s attention when he left his county ahead of the All-Ireland championship to join the cast of the hit reality series.

The 25-year-old coupled up with Lola early on in the villa, though the pair lost the public’s favour as the show progressed.

On Sunday, they officially left the series together, after a vote on the public’s least favourite couples left them vulnerable to be dumped.

However, it appears that Fitzy may not be leaving the TV life behind just yet, with fans speculating as to what he does next.

According to the latest odds from Ladbrokes, a return to national television could be on the cards very soon.

Punters are predicting that Fitzy may be swapping his Gaelic football boots for dancing shoes, placing him at 3/1 to join the cast of Dancing With the Stars 2027.

While Lola and Fitzy revealed their plans to move to Dublin together, GAA fans are still holding out hope that the footballer may return to help Galway hunt down the Sam Maguire.

A return to Pádraic Joyce’s senior football panel for Fitzy is currently sitting at 5/1.

Meanwhile, a return to the classroom to resume his day job as a primary school teacher is priced at 7/1.

Speaking about the odds, Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes confirmed that Fitzy has come out of the villa with a lot of options on the table.

She also noted that punters think he will be first in line for the hit RTE dancing show.

Nicola said: ‘Whether he’ll be getting the dancing shoes ready, lacing up the football boots or putting on his teacher’s hat, he has an exciting chapter ahead!’
