Sandra Bullock has revealed that she went to extreme lengths to shield her newborn baby from paparazzi and keep him a secret at the height of her then-husband’s cheating scandal.
The 62-year-old recently chatted with Jennifer Aniston for a new profile, reflecting on the whirlwind story that engulfed her life in 2010.
At the time, Sandra’s five-year marriage with Jesse James imploded after revelations emerged of his infidelity with model Michelle ‘Bombshell’ McGee.

Sandra had secretly adopted her newborn son Louis in 2010 and recalled how she had to put him in a hockey bag to hide him from nearby photographers.
She laughed as she told Interview magazine: ‘I was just cleaning out the closet, and I found these hockey bags for stuffing clothes in for travel. Child Protective Services, do not come after me…
‘When the poop hit the fan for me, when we know what that is, I realised I had to get out of the house because the paparazzi were going to descend, and no one knew I had a newborn.

‘So I put him in his car carrier, put it in the hockey bag, and zipped the hockey bag around him. Then I carried the hockey bag to the car, as though I was just carrying any random hockey bag.’
Sandra explained that high-profile celebrities ‘have to operate like the CIA’, before revealing that someone near her recently ‘broke’ her heart by selling information about her.

Sandra also spoke about how she puts her career to the side to prioritise Louis, who is now 16, along with her 13-year-old daughter, Laila, whom she adopted in 2015.
The Practical Magic star added: ‘If the kids can’t be with me, I’m not going. The older they get, the bigger their schedules. And their schedules are more important than me telling a story, period.’
