One of the stars of this season’s Traitors Ireland is now revealed to have a close personal connection to a well-known singer-songwriter.The second season of the hit reality show returned to Irish TV on Sunday with 23 new faces taking each other on in a game of betrayal, deceit and strategy.

The show got off to a dramatic start on Sunday when many of the contestants refrained from sharing their actual jobs — DJ Denis claimed he was a writer, while Fionula withheld the fact that she was an actress.

The initial Traitors were chosen to be Fionula, Páraic K and Carla.

On Monday, Edelle was chosen as the fourth Traitor — but she did not learn of her fellow Traitors, and was axed before that was revealed to her.

Edelle’s exit didn’t come before she committed a murder of her own, with Emma from Dublin murdered by the fourth and outgoing Traitor.

Among those sharing their support for the 42-year-old vocal coach was her younger brother, none other than Gavin James.

The White Noise singer took to Instagram over the weekend sharing a promotional clip of Emma on the RTÉ show.

‘My sis,’ the musician proudly shared.

The Irish Sun revealed that Emma is a vocal coach who performs with the Dublin Gospel Choir, but has also worked alongside her famous brother.

As well as contributing backing vocals to his music, Emma has toured alongside Gavin.

An Instagram post from 2019 shared a glimpse at the brother and sister dynamics which is clearly full of love and banter.

Emma shared a selfie as she paid tribute to her brother on his birthday.

‘Happy birthday bro have the best day xx seriously though my head is like half of yours. F*cking love ya.’

Emma’s murder on Monday’s episode of The Traitors came not long before Edelle got her comeuppance and was voted out by her fellow contestants after suspicions arose about her treachery.
