Actor Alan Ritchson known for playing Reacher on Prime Video and his wife Catherine are ending their marriage after 20 years together.
In a joint Instagram statement issued on Saturday night, the couple said they had ‘decided to end our marriage and continue alongside one another in a different way,’ but that their three sons Calem, Edan and Amory remain at the centre of their world.
They wrote that nothing could diminish the love and respect they have for one another and that they plan to move forward with ‘friendship, grace and a commitment to becoming the strongest co‑parents we can be, while giving each other the space to grow into the people they are becoming.
The statement said ‘we grew up together, we built a family and life together and now we are raising three incredible boys. Nothing can diminish what these years have meant to us or the love and respect we will always share.
‘The best gift we can give one another and the boys is friendship grace and commitment to becoming the strongest co-parents we can be.’

According to court documents reported by TMZ, Alan filed for divorce in December, the pair reconciled in March, and ultimately announced their separation in September.
The two first met as teenagers in high school, broke up, then reconnected in college before marrying in May 2006.

Alan’s career began with his breakout role in Smallville, followed by appearances in Blue Mountain State, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Titans and more.

His biggest role to date came in 2022 when he was cast as Jack Reacher in Amazon Prime’s Reacher. Season four is currently running on Prime Video.
