Influencer Rachel Gorry has told how she will pay a touching tribute to her late husband on her wedding day.
Rachel is set to tie the knot on September 3 next year at Johnstown House in Enfield, Co Meath to fiancé Adrien Kiernan after the couple got engaged at Christmas last year. The pair are parents to twins Ryan and Evie, who they welcomed in August 2025.
Rachel is already a mum to three daughters, Leah, Holly and Hannah, who she shares with her late husband Daniel, who died at the age of 29 in 2020, 18 months after he was diagnosed with cancer.
Rachel found love again with Adrien and admitted she never thought she would get married or have more children again.
Speaking to EVOKE, Rachel said: ‘I never thought I would get married again. I never thought I’d have more kids again, yet here we are. It’s crazy, isn’t it?
She told how her wedding day will be particularly emotional as her daughter Leah, who she shares with her late husband will pay a touching tribute to her dad.
She said: ‘Leah is going to read a poem, and oh my God, I can’t get through it without actually bawling my eyes out. And Daniel’s dad is walking me down the aisle.
‘I think it will be an emotional day, like we are so looking forward to it but there will be that element…’
She said Leah will also be wearing something that will honour her father at her mum’s wedding.
‘Leah always marks her daddy.’
Opening up about the wedding, Rachel said she’s having a big wedding this time around.
‘Yeah, we’re having a big wedding. I didn’t do a big wedding the first time. Adrien wants to have everyone there and have a big party.’
But she admitted she doesn’t like that moment when she will have to walk up to Adrien in front of people.
‘I don’t want to walk in in front of people. That’s why I did the small wedding the last time,’ she said laughing.
Speaking about their honeymoon plans, she said they hope to go somewhere that will be a once-in-a-lifetime destination.
‘We are going on a honeymoon. We haven’t anything booked but I would love to do something that you would never do again like the Maldives or something like that.
‘We’re not bringing the kids so it will probably be the last time we will get away somewhere (together) so I’m like let’s go somewhere amazing,’ she added.
