Premier League footballer Conor Gallagher has announced his engagement to Cork model Aine May Kennedy after proposing during a romantic Mallorca getaway.
The couple shared the news on Instagram with a collection of professional photos, followed by a touching video.
Conor revealed that he had popped the question on Wednesday, writing: ‘Here’s to forever – 10.06.2026.’

The pair have been together for around eight years, with their relationship getting started during Conor’s early days at Chelsea’s Academy in 2018.
Aine is a model and professional dancer from Cork. She has been regularly spotted supporting her partner during his football matches over the years.
The Tottenham footballer missed out on selection for Thomas Tuchel’s England World Cup squad this summer, leaving him with more time to spend with his wife-to-be.
His move to Spurs in January caught many fans by surprise, with the midfielder having been well set up at Atletico Madrid for the past couple of seasons.
However, Aine had no issues leaving Spain and expressed her excitement at returning to London prior to the move.
She wrote on Instagram: ‘Life is crazy. We are going home, while leaving a city (Madrid) that we will call home forever. One minute we are cooking dinner, next minute we are packing suitcases.

‘You’re the best CG, this is going to be so good. I’m so happy and excited for you to start a new chapter. COYS.’
Despite Spurs having a turbulent season in the Premier League, where they narrowly avoided relegation, head coach Robert De Zerbi would like to keep Conor at the club next season.
After their 1-0 win over Everton on the final day of the season, De Zerbi heaped praise on the English midfielder.

He said: ‘He’s really turned it around. From the first day or two, he had everyone under his wing. Everyone trusted him instantly. Everything he was doing, it was like, “Thank God he’s come in”. Straight away.
‘I can’t speak highly enough of him or what he’s done for the club, for the team and for me individually. I’m looking forward to working with him even more.’
