Family and friends of Limerick hurler Tom Morrissey and his wife Elaine Dolan surrounded the couple as they celebrated their big day at the wedding.

The couple, who have been in a long-term relationship for several years, danced the night away in one of the most scenic places in the country.

And as to be expected, there were a few familiar faces among the guests.

It was a double celebration with the Limerick hurling team winning their 13th All-Ireland final, beating Galway during the summer.

The couple headed to Westmeath for their reception at the beautiful Glasson Lakehouse resort, which sits on the shores of Lough Ree, perfect for pictures.

Standing by his side for support was his brother Dan, who is also one of Limerick’s best players and tied the knot himself last December.

Elaine looked beautiful in an off-the-shoulder white wedding gown that had intricate floral lace detail as well as shimmering embellishments throughout.

The piece features a sweetheart neckline with a structured corset-style bodice that flowed into a fitted silhouette, flowing into a soft train.

Completing the look, she had sheer lace sleeves, a flowing veil and a bouquet of ivory and white roses. She wore her hair loose with soft curls that swept over her shoulder.

Former hurling captain Declan Hannon and his wife, Today FM’s Louise Cantillon, were not going to miss out on their friend’s big day.
