Niamh Cullen has hit back at a cruel message accusing her of ‘acting as though nothing happened’ nine months after the loss of her husband.

The influencer wed her long-time love, Jamie Gill, in a beautiful Italian wedding in 2024.

The newlyweds had a mini-honeymoon in Rome where Jamie fell ill. He was later diagnosed with an aggressive cancer.

In November 2025, Jamie lost his battle, with Niamh open about navigating the highs and lows of grieving the loss.

The Dublin native is among some 35,000 festival-goers who have descended on Waterford for All Together Now this weekend.

The 34-year-old is attending the festival alongside fellow content creator Ashley Kehoe and a group of friends.

Keeping her followers up to date, Niamh has shared snippets of the festival to date including a sweet snap alongside a childhood best friend of her husband’s.

On Sunday morning, Niamh took to Instagram to share a message from an unnamed social media user.

Replying to one of her Instagram Stories, the person said: ‘What happened to a period of mourning at least?! Usually a year before acting as though nothing happened.’

Niamh captioned the snap: ‘God forbid I slip out of my reality for a weekend. A hoochie basher over here.’

The influencer followed up, adding that she was gonna have ‘an EXTRA WHOOPER big ball today.’

It’s not the first time Niamh has faced cruel criticism, with another message sent to her earlier in the year when she holidayed in Lisbon.

Responding to a TikTok Niamh shared to her Instagram Story from the beach, the message read: ‘Your posts are so weird.

‘One minute the grieving widow. The next literally showing your hooch. Honestly, don’t get the vibe.

‘Perhaps just drunk as all your other posts just show you drinking alcohol!’

Niamh shared the message to her Instagram, responding: ‘God forbid I’m on holidays trying to have a nice time with my “hooch.”’
