Model Alannah Beirne has revealed she is set to build her ‘dream home’ after buying land in Bali.
Alannah returned to the catwalk after an eight-year hiatus, showcasing her incredible figure during Miami’s Swim Week.
The Kildare native, from Naas, has been living for the past seven years in Australia and currently works as a sales manager for a renewable energy company on the Gold Coast.

But Alannah revealed she jetted to Bali this week to sign documents to buy land off the Indonesian island of Sumbawa, where she will build her dream home overlooking the sea.
She told EVOKE: ‘I have to sign documents because I bought land over there.
‘I was about to buy a villa there and a contact was saying to me not to do anything or purchased anything until our solicitor looks at it.
‘There was a fella who has been buying up land in Sumbawa for the last ten years and he was putting them online to sell.’

Opening up about her building plans, she said: ‘The land is right on a cliff on a beach. It’s amazing. I’m planning on building there. We’re in talks with the architect at the moment on the design of the build.
‘It’ll definitely be two-storey because it overlooks the ocean. It’ll be bamboo material with four or five bedrooms with all glass at the top.

‘I bought land in a place called Sumbawa. I’ve a few things to do there and then I go back to Australia. I think I’m heading back around June 13 or 14. My sister is having a baby so I might end up going back a little bit sooner.’
Alannah also revealed her Ireland rugby star brother Tadgh will also be visiting her in Oz, adding: ‘My whole family is coming out to Australia at the end of June or start of July. It’ll be busy again seeing them.’
