Poet Maire Saaritsa, the mother of the Oscar winner’s son, is now a director at his record label, while a second of Hansard’s musical firms has passed to his estate, Extra.ie can exclusively reveal.
Newly filed documents show that Saaritsa has been appointed a co-director of Plain Records, the label associated with the Once star.
Official records show her appointment is dated July 29, the very day the much-loved Dubliner, 56, died in a motorbike crash in Lucan.

But the paperwork was not filed with the Companies Registration Office until September 28, almost two months later.
The filings do not explain the delay between the recorded appointment date and the submission of the paperwork.
Ms Saaritsa now shares the top table with just one other figure: music industry heavyweight Brian Message, whose ATC Management worked with Hansard during his career.

Plain Records, which is associated with the singer’s music catalogue, is based at Harmony Court in Dublin 2.
As recently as June, Hansard was recorded as holding every issued share in the company.
And it’s not the only company the star left behind. Another label, Plateau Records, registered at the same address, is now recorded in company filings as belonging to ‘The Estate of Glen Hansard (Deceased)’, with a shake-up of its officers also lodged.

It’s a long way from the streets of Ballymun for the rocker, who famously ditched school at 13 to busk on Grafton Street.
He shot to fame as guitar-slinging Outspan Foster in The Commitments, fronted cult favourites The Frames, then struck gold with Once, the shoestring Dublin romance whose heart-wrenching ballad Falling Slowly, penned with Markéta Irglová, scooped him an Oscar and spawned a Tony-winning Broadway smash.
Stars lined up to pay tribute after his death, with Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band declaring themselves heartbroken and actor Rachel Zegler, who’d belted out Falling Slowly with him on stage in New York just months earlier, posting an emotional farewell.
