Kathryn Thomas may have some at-home competition as her husband this week launched his very own presenting career.
The RTÉ presenter has been married to Pádraig McLoughlin since 2018, with the pair first meeting in 2013.
The couple said ‘I Do’, in the stunning Kilkea Castle in Castledermot, Co Kildare.

Pádraig’s background is as a restauranteur, and he is the current Head of Food and Beverage at Kildare Village.
A new video from the renowned shopping centre stars Pádraig at the fore as he talks through his favourite picks for food and drink at the location.
Sharing the clip to her Instagram, Kathryn was quick to jibe at her husband’s new venture, joking: ‘The husband now apparently launching his new TV career.

The presenter went on to warn him to ‘stay in your lane’ but followed up with high praise, branding him a ‘total natural.’
Among some of Pádraig’s top picks at Kildare Village were Mani Pizza, Sprout and Rolling Donut.
The comments were full of high praise from fellow social media users, with Kathryn joking: ‘Do I get the whiff of a TV travel presenter from you?

‘You must have been observing behind my back.’
‘Love this Padraig,’ another added, ‘A natural.’
A third said: ‘Love them all.’
Kathryn and Pádraig first met at O’Donoghues on Baggot Street, but it took some time before a romance blossomed.
According to EVOKE, Kathryn headed to Canada for a week after her chance meeting, and then went Stateside for five weeks after.
