Johnny McDaid has publicly declared his love for his new girlfriend Rosie just months after news emerged of his split from long-time partner Courteney Cox.
The Snow Patrol singer mentioned Rosie while accepting the President’s Award at the BMI Awards on Tuesday, thanking those closest to him during an emotional speech.
Addressing the audience, Johnny said: ‘There are of course many people I have to thank.
‘My family that are here, Anya, Josh, Sheila and my partner Rosie, thank you for all your support and I love you.’
The 50-year-old’s comments come after reports earlier this year revealed he had quietly ended his relationship with Courteney Cox after 10 years dating.
The former couple, who were briefly engaged, are understood to have parted ways late last year. According to friends, the split was entirely amicable, with the pair simply finding themselves on different paths after years together.
While Courteney, 62, has continued to base herself in Los Angeles, Johnny has largely been living in London, with the couple previously dividing their time between the UK and the US.
The pair first got together in 2013 after being introduced through mutual friends, including Ed Sheeran. Just one year later, they announced their engagement.
The former couple were last publicly photographed together at the US Open in September 2025.
