Jack Keating has reacted to being branded a nepo baby, admitting he’d be ‘lying’ if he said he wasn’t one.
The radio presenter and Love Island alumni is the eldest son of Boyzone star turned solo artist Ronan Keating and former model Yvonne Connolly.
The pair also share two daughters — Missy and Ali — and Ronan has two younger children with wife Storm Keating.

Urban Dictionary explains that a nepo baby is the ‘child of a famous actor/celebrity who got famous due to nepotism.’
Speaking on a new YouTube video with influencer Lauren Whelan, Jack admitted that while he is a nepo-baby it can ‘only get you so far.’
He explained: ‘I feel like maybe you could get an interview with somebody or a meeting with somebody, but I feel like if you aren’t good at your job; talented or funny or interesting, a nepo baby is only gonna get you so far.

‘That’s kinda how I feel about it.’
The pair went on to note that many nepo-babies aren’t ‘taking full advantage’ of their status.
Jack reasoned that he didn’t want to be ‘that type of person’ asking families for favours.

‘I want to make my own path in life, at the same time,’ he told the Carlow woman.
Asked if he ever had a ‘real job’, the Spin 1038 broadcaster confirmed he has ‘done it all.’
Jack detailed how he dropped out of college three months into first year, having spent ‘more time in the pub than in my lectures.’
Among the jobs he has tried his hand at include barista; barman and landscaper.
‘Up at 5am every single morning, planting trees; doing bushes; doing people’s gardens; lawnmowers — everything like that,’ he listed.
‘It was the toughest job I’ve ever had, to be honest. Jack of all trades, over here.’
Jack went on to confirm he has ‘always worked’ but before his first stint on Love Island had ‘no idea’ what he wanted to do with his life.
