Vogue Williams has revealed that renovations have finally started on her ‘forever’ home as she shares an inside look at their new build.
Vogue and her husband Spencer Matthews moved out of their £4.25million London flat earlier this year and into a rental home with their three kids Theodore, eight, Otto, four, daughter Gigi, six, and newborn Remy while the work is done on their new place.
The 40-year-old presenter has now shared an inside look at how renovations are going.
Speaking over the video, she said: ‘It’s looking good… there’s a lot of work going on.’
A quick video shows Vogue’s husband Spencer walking through the space, with the walls exposed and workmen in the garden.
The host and podcaster previously told followers on her Vlog: ‘I can’t wait to have our forever house in London. We do have a nice rental, but it’s not home, and it’s not our house.
‘We bought the house last May, so it has been nearly 12 months, and we haven’t done anything yet because of planning.’
Explaining the architectural plans, Vogue previously said: ‘We are going to be pushing out the bottom two floors, and we have a gorgeous terrace going in for that feel of indoor/outdoor living.
‘We want heaters and all that outside…’
She then shared her excitement at having a garden after living in the flat and said she can’t wait to look out and see green.
In the car on the way to look for furniture, she said to Spencer: ‘I would like a dog wash area because I plan to have a lot of dogs throughout my life. We can get little Winnie painted on some of the tiles!’
Their beloved dog Winnie passed away in September last year.
They then headed to the Chelsea Design Centre to look for tiles, as Spencer explained: ‘Downstairs where the sauna and ice bath area is going to be I think we want some yellow marble…’
They then headed back to the house and showed off the garden as Vogue remarked: ‘We have a lot of work to do. A lot of the stuff will be cleared as we need lawn for the kids but we are keeping all the big trees…’
She and Spencer then discussed if they would keep the pond at the bottom of the garden as Vogue admitted she’d love a pet duck one day.
The family is living in a rented property while they complete 18 months of renovations in their dream home.
The couple also own a family home in Howth, Dublin, which they purchased in late 2023, but they continue to spend time in London due to ongoing work commitments.
