Siobhán O’Hagan has welcomed her second baby after undergoing a solo pregnancy journey – and picked a lovely Irish name for her newborn.
The Dubliner shared photos from the delivery room earlier this week, with her mum joining her for the birth and both ladies beaming a smile as they welcomed a new family member into the world.
Siobhán announced the special moment on social media, posting black-and-white snaps from The Rotunda Hospital.

Siobhán revealed that she has welcomed a baby boy at the time and she’s now shared the name she’s given him.
Posting cute photos of her son meeting his big sister, Siobhán said: ‘When Barra met Cadhla, my heart doubled in size.’
The snaps show Cadhla peering down at her new sibling, who is laying in his bassinet and wearing a cosy blue onesie with his name embroidered across the front.

Another photo shows the new family of three sharing a cuddle, with Barra cradled in his mum’s arms.
Barra, which can be considered a form of Fionnbharra, is a strong Irish baby name that can mean ‘fair-headed’.
Announcing little Barra’s arrival earlier in the week, Siobhán said: ‘He’s here. Rotunda midwives – what a dream team.’
She also shared a heartwarming poem about ‘loving two’ to her story.

‘And although I realize that you may have to share my time, I now know you’ll never share my love. There’s enough of that for both of you, you each have your own supply.’
‘I love you, both. And I thank you both for blessing my life,’ the poem ended.
Famous faces flocked to congratulate the new mum, with Laura Fox leading the way. ‘Omg congratulations,’ she penned, alongside a string of heart-eye emojis.

‘Aww congratulations Siobhan!! Such gorgeous times,’ Diana Bunici wrote, while Áine Kennedy penned: ‘The biggest congratulations, Siobhan, so happy for you.’
Siobhán decided to pursue a solo pregnancy with the help of IVF in January this year. In March, she announced her pregnancy, saying it was ‘worth every shot.’
She is already mum to a three-year-old daughter, named Cadhla, whom she welcomed in August 2023 with her ex-partner Darragh Molloy.

The personal trainer was very open about her solo pregnancy, regularly sharing updates with her 166k social media followers.
‘Mainly, I want to share the journey because I feel like it’s much more authentic to me, and maybe it will help somebody who is thinking about it,’ she previously told her followers.
