Laura Howard found herself the second victim on The Traitors Ireland S2 for being too outspoken.

The Cork woman led the charge in Edelle’s banishment, who, coincidentally, was a Traitor, but that evening she realised she had put a target on her back.

Sure enough, Páraic K, Carla, and Fionula chose to kill her off before she came sniffing around. Afterwards, Kayleigh claimed she was ‘delighted’ that they’d chosen to murder Laura, because of her loud personality.

Of course, there’s also been a lot of online reaction to Laura from fans of The Traitors Ireland, so how has she been faring with the attention?

Speaking after the fact, Laura said: ‘Do you know what? There’s been a mixed reaction, and that’s fine. I’ve a saying: “I’m not everyone’s cup of tea because I’m Champagne”.

‘That’s the way I see it. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, and if I’m not everyone’s cup of tea, that’s totally fine. I would just like people to remember that it is a game.’

‘What you see is not the real person; you’re seeing a snapshot. I think it would be lovely if people could remember to be a little bit more kind in challenging gameplay,’ Laura continued.

‘That’s totally fine if you didn’t agree with my strategy, but the more personal stuff is a little bit more hard-hitting. I suppose that’s been the difficult side. But overwhelmingly, it has been more positive than negative.’

Speaking about Kayleigh’s ‘delighted’ comment, Laura joked: ‘I might have a word with her at the wrap party, but I haven’t seen her yet’, adding: ‘I was surprised because I got on so great with Kayleigh, but at the same time, I get it.’

‘I was putting the Faithfuls under pressure, but maybe a little bit more kindness might have been nice in her delivery. We’ll have a drink at the wrap party; it’ll be all good,’ she said.

When asked whether she saw her murder coming, Laura admitted: ‘I had a feeling that I was in the firing line. My strategy going in was to try and be quiet, but then I was just so excited to get in there that I was like, “Are you a Traitor? Are you a Faithful?”‘

She thought to herself, ‘Maybe you should pull it back, but at that stage, it was too late’.

‘I don’t think I would change anything. I was unapologetically myself. I’m a confident girl, and I think that definitely came across,’ Laura said proudly.
