Former Miss Ireland Aoife Walsh has tied the knot for a second time to her love, Ben Nicholson, in a stunning chateau wedding.

The model and her husband, Ben, tied the knot in a fairytale legal ceremony earlier this summer, before packing their bags and heading to France for their destination wedding.

On Thursday, Aoife shared a glimpse of her stunning second wedding. Her wedding dress was a romantic, fairytale-inspired ball gown with elegant couture details.

The dress boasted a classic ball gown silhouette with a dramatically full skirt — very princess-esque! It had a sweetheart neckline, softened by delicate illusion tulle.

Complementing the full skirt, the dress had a structured, fitted corset-style bodice with intricate lace appliqués and embroidery.

Aoife wore a cathedral-length veil, which tied in with the grandeur of the gown.

In the first photo of their wedding day, Aoife was seen beaming from ear to ear as she and Ben walked down the aisle as Mr and Mrs. The former Miss Ireland triumphantly held her bouquet in the air.

She wrote: ‘Happy ever after.’ Ben and Aoife got engaged during a romantic trip to Lisbon in September 2025.

Aoife previously told EVOKE: ‘I definitely wasn’t expecting it at all, but when I look back now, all the signs were there.’

The mum-of-one explained at the time that Ben helped her pick her outfits for each night, suggesting she hold off wearing a white dress until another night, and convinced her to wear heels but bring runners when her feet were sore that day.

Ben organised a photographer to capture the moment, who approached Aoife and Ben with a ruse that the couple she had been due to photograph were no-shows, asking if she could photograph Aoife instead.

While Aoife was posing up a storm, Ben was out of her direct eyeline and pulled the engagement ring out of his backpack.

‘I think he played it really well, to be honest; I was really, really shocked. I actually was just gobsmacked,’ she said.

Aoife and Ben celebrated their first nuptials with a lavish outdoor set-up at Raheen House Hotel in Co Tipperary at the beginning of July.
