Charleen Murphy has revealed she thinks she ‘picked the wrong brother’ as she lifted the lid on her Love Island experience.

The Dublin influencer entered the show during Casa Amor and was brought back to the main villa by Kavan Murphy.

The romance was short-lived, however, with Kavan quickly deciding he wanted to be ‘100%’ with Jasmine Muller.

A shock recoupling not long after Casa Amor left Charleen and fellow Casa Amor bombshell Mara Perez single. The women were dumped from the villa as a result.

Returning to TV screens on Sunday night, the axed islanders appeared on Love Island Aftersun.

Speaking on the show, Charleen admitted she would ‘probably change’ the bad note her Love Island experience ended on.

She went on to admit that she thinks she ‘picked the wrong brother.’

Revealing that she had watched the show back, she noted that Aidan Murphy had spoken ‘so highly of me.’

‘If I had known that… it’s like the old movies where you don’t realise what was right in front of you the whole time,’ Charleen said, ‘He was so nice.’

The Dubliner was quizzed on whether she had been interested in fellow Irish islander, Sean “Fitzy” Fitzgerald.

‘He was on my list going in, but I think I straight away got a vibe from him that he wasn’t open,’ she said, ‘Had he been slightly flirty, then maybe something could have happened.’

Charleen’s Aftersun appearance came not long after it was revealed on Sunday’s Love Island that Sean and his partner Lola would be exiting the villa.

Last week saw Lorenzo and Julia voted the viewers favourite couple. Their reward was to decide which couple would be the next to leave the show.

As the couple deliberated over who to choose, detective Lola pitched the idea to volunteer to Sean.

‘Wew think you should just pick up,’ Sean told the pair, with Lola confirming: ‘Yeah 100%.’

The detective explained: ‘We’ve found each other, and we’re so happy and you guys, like, you haven’t had a fair shot yet.

‘And you guys, you’re doing so well in here. We’re really happy to pick ourselves. We’ve got what we came here for.’
