She might not be in the villa anymore, but Charleen Murphy hasn’t escaped the drama!

During The Grafties on Wednesday, clips of the Irish star on Aftersun were aired, showing her talking about ‘picking the wrong brother’ and the moment Mica called her ‘that girl’ in the Casa Amor recoupling.

At the time, the rude address didn’t go down well with viewers, but it was said in the heat of the moment, so many gave Mica the benefit of the doubt, and she apologised for saying it during the awards.

As usual, the OG girls rushed to defend Mica in the following discussion while Julia, the only remaining Casa girl in the villa, stood up for Charleen and reminded the others that the Casa girls are ‘human’ too and were feeling the full brunt of their shock and anger in that moment.

‘She was involved in it, and you were being dismissive of her as a woman… I guess the whole narrative of us Casa girls coming back here, and you girls are raging, and are like “oh, it’s not about you girls, it’s about the boys”, like we’re human beings as well, we’re girls who came back here,’ Julia said.

Jasmine tried to explain Mica’s comment, telling Julia: ‘It was never about you guys. We’re also human beings. I lived this experience with Kav for so long, and then I’m getting told by people it’s disrespectful that you laughed; honestly, it had nothing to do with you lot [the Casa girls].

‘I didn’t even process your names when you came in.’ Jas? That’s not exactly helping your point, admitting you didn’t even remember their names?!

Considering he has his own drama to battle through, we were a little perplexed when Aidan jumped in and mentioned how it was after everyone heard Charleen’s heels that the laughing started in the recoupling.

Mica and Jasmine jumped on him, saying: ‘Aidan, no, it wasn’t. That is such a lie.’

Priya then got involved, trying to back Jas and say she was upset in that moment, but what about Charleen, Priya? Wasn’t she upset too, walking into a villa of new people to laughter?

Everyone’s favourite outspoken Islander Julia made just this point, saying: ‘Have you not seen how Charleen was also upset?’

After the lively discussion aired, Charleen reacted to what happened in The Grafties, commenting on a clip to say: ‘Julia’s cheer, I love her.’

Charleen also shared a selfie of herself looking a little shocked by what she’d seen on her TV screen, writing: ‘Tg [Thank God] I didn’t have to make a speech because I’m now speechless.’

Although that chat was pretty intense, it wasn’t even the most shocking moment of the night. Instead, that came after The Grafties when Priya was raging about what Elicia had said about her.

In another Aftersun clip aired to the villa, bombshell Elicia, who was trying to get to know Aidan at the same time as Priya, said she believed Priya was the biggest player.

Priya was outraged by this claim, especially as Julia’s theory about her and Aidan coupling up just to secure a spot in the final had also come up during the night, and in her anger, took aim at Elicia’s job.

‘I don’t care what Elicia says; it’s cringey, go back to the National Rail, Elicia. You work on the National Rail; why are you sitting on Aftersun… just go back there and save your breath,’ Priya said.

Immediately, Kavan called her out and said: ‘There’s nothing wrong with working on the National Rail, alright.’

In fairness, Priya was all worked up about the claims and has had a rough few days with Aidan telling her he doesn’t have ‘deep’ feelings, but still, not cool to be taking aim at people’s jobs, Pri.

Several fans were surprised by her comment, with one writing: ‘Priya coming for Elicia’s job is bang out of order.’

‘The boys have often made comments about Priya’s ego and I never really understood it until I saw that comment. Good on Kav for calling her out on it,’ added someone else.

A third said: ‘Weirdest shout I’ve heard. Going on about someone’s job. If Julia said that, they would all be screaming at her.’

Others tried to explain Priya, saying she meant it in a more ‘go back to your day job instead of sitting on interviews’ way, but still, it didn’t sit well with lots of people.

With all this drama to work through – and Jasmine and Julia’s fall out – Thursday’s show is going to be a big one… Love Island is back at 9pm on Virgin Media Two.
