
There’s further baby joy within the RTÉ Dancing with the Stars family as one of the professional dancers welcomed the arrival of their first child this week.
The news comes not long after presenter Doireann Garrihy welcomed the arrival of her own first child, a baby girl, with her husband Mark Mehigan.
Over the weekend, DWTS pro dancer Salome Chachua announced the birth of her baby boy, Sandro.

The Georgian native took to social media for the first time since she announced her exit from the RTÉ show to share the exciting news.
Among the photos the was a picture of baby Sandro’s foot in a man’s hand, as well as a series of photos from Salome’s pregnancy.
‘My baby Sandro, thank you god for this endless love,’ the new mum wrote alongside the pictures.

Friends and followers took to the comments to congratulate Salome following the private pregnancy.
‘Huge congratulations Salome!’ former contestant Rosanna Davison wrote, with Joanna Donnelly adding: ‘Congratulations Salome. Wonderful news.’
Fellow DWTS pro dancer Ervinas Merfeldas added: ‘CONGRATULATIONS Salo!!! So so so happy for you and sending you all love and blessings.’

Salome joined the Dancing with the Stars family for the fifth series in 2022, placing runner-up with Irish rugby union star Jordan Conroy in her debut appearance.
Over the years, Salome was paired with Dublin footballer Paul Brogan, Wild Youth’s David Whelan and Mrs Brown’s Boys star Danny O’Carroll.
Last November, she confirmed her exit from the show, citing ‘personal reasons.’
