Anne Hathaway has hilariously clapped back at claims a recent picture of her pregnant belly is ‘fake.’
The Princess Diaries star earlier this year announced she was expecting her third child with husband, Adam Shulman.
Over the weekend, Anne took to the red carpet for yet another one of her 2026 films, The End of Oak Street.

Sunday saw the stars of the Warner Brothers flick stepping out for the Los Angeles premiere.
Anne was styled in a relaxed pair of jeans, which were paired with a blue top for the event with the top cropped at the front to show off the star’s growing bump.
Footage from the red carpet event prompted a hugely mixed reaction, with many appearing offended over the look, while others insisted it was ‘fake.’

One wrote: ‘It looks like a really bad fake moon bump. Surely they could have done better.’
Another said: ‘Why is she wearing the pants so low on her hips… it doesn’t make the bump even look real.’
A third insisted: ‘This is a prosthetic! Never seen a pregnant belly look like that!’

Anne has since hit back at the comments, taking to Instagram and sharing a glimpse at the event including snippets of her getting red carpet ready.
‘Fake hair, real bump,’ the actress jibed, ‘Enjoy the @endofoakstreet Block Party chaos with me as my outfit literally melts in the heat!!’
Anne announced her pregnancy in June, sharing a video of herself dressed in a long, flowy dress as she caressed her bump.
‘x Baby, I’m yours x,’ she captioned the clip, sending fans into a frenzy.
Anne and Adam are already parents to two boys. Jonathan was born in March 2016, and Jack was born in November 2019.
