Angela Scanlon has poked fun at her camera-shy husband after he accidentally got ‘papped’ at Wimbledon.

The TV presenter and broadcaster was amongst a star-studded list of celebrities heading to the tennis tournament this week.

The two-week sporting event is one of the most prestigious in the calendar, with other Irish stars spotted including Joanne McNally, Niall Horan and Ronan Keating.

Angela headed to the London venue on Wednesday, wearing a bold Burberry jacket which she paired with a cream top and blue balloon shorts.

Sharing a glimpse at the festivities, Angela posted pictures of the renowned Wimbledon strawberries, her accessory details, and a snap with her podcast co-host Vicky Pattison.

The duo host the unfiltered conversational podcast Get A Grip, which they launched in May 2025.

Angela was also accompanied by her husband Roy Horgan, who, despite avoiding the cameras, still managed to catch himself in none other than British Vogue.

The publication had shared a picture of Angela, with Roy caught in the background.

Wearing a cream T-shirt and black sunglasses, Roy is notably watching as his wife has her picture taken.

Angela was quick to take to Instagram to share Roy caught gawping, but many were left unaware it was Angela’s husband.

One follower responded to the picture, asking the presenter: ‘Did you get his number?! Asking for a friend.’

Angela responded: ‘It’s my husband.’

The follower replied: ‘Is it actually?! lol He’s hot.’

‘YES,’ Angela replied, with the follower lauding: ‘Well done.’

Elsewhere, Masters champion Rory McIlroy and his wife Erica were in attendance, with Rory donning the iconic green jacket for the occasion.

The couple looked loved-up as they shared kisses during the game, putting to bed any speculation of ongoing marital problems.

While Rory wore green and white for the occasion, his other half donned a white cotton Alaia dress, which she paired with a dark cream Dior bag.
