There was another busy evening of club hurling across Waterford on Saturday, with important results in the Senior, Premier Intermediate and Junior Championships.

In the JJ Kavanagh & Sons County Senior Hurling Championship Group A, Abbeyside-Ballinacourty secured a 0-26 to 2-18 victory over Passage in Round 4, while Clonea and De La Salle shared the spoils following a thrilling 2-20 to 4-14 draw.

In Group B, Mount Sion edged out Ballygunner by 0-24 to 1-19 in another closely contested encounter to claim a valuable two-point win.

In the Ballyrafter Service Station Western Junior Hurling Championship C Cup Division One quarter-final, An Rinn booked their place in the semi-finals with a convincing 2-20 to 2-7 win over Geraldines.

Meanwhile, in the Cappoquin Logistics Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship Knockout, Clashmore-Kinsalebeg advanced to the preliminary quarter-final stage after overcoming Ballysaggart on a scoreline of 3-21 to 2-11.
