Waterford darts star Dean Finn returns to the oche tonight as he begins another bid for MODUS Super Series glory in Series 14, Week 8.
Finn, who has become one of Ireland’s leading performers on the MODUS circuit, is back in action in Portsmouth looking to secure another weekly title and a place in the lucrative Champions Week competition. The weekly winner will collect £5,000 and earn qualification for Champions Week, where the overall winner will take home a £25,000 top prize.
The Waterford thrower has already enjoyed significant success in the competition, having claimed a previous MODUS weekly title to qualify for Champions Week, one of the biggest achievements of his career.
Finn faces a busy opening night with four matches scheduled:
- 22:45 – Joe Hunt (England)
- 23:20 – Dylan Slevin (Ireland)
- 00:15 – Sam Spivey (England)
- 00:50 – Graham Hall (England)
The schedule presents a challenging test, particularly against fellow Irishman Dylan Slevin, as Finn looks to build early momentum in the group stages.
The Waterford ace has built a reputation as one of the most consistent Irish performers on the MODUS stage. His previous weekly victory saw him pocket £5,000 and qualify for Champions Week after a series of impressive performances against a strong international field.
With another opportunity to progress towards the competition’s biggest prizes, Finn will be hoping to produce the form that has already made him a fan favourite on the televised darts circuit.
Play gets underway tonight, with all eyes in Waterford once again fixed on one of the county’s most successful darts players as he chases another MODUS Super Series title.
