Waterford’s Senior Ladies Footballers are set to begin their 2026 TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship campaign this month, with the Déise preparing for two crucial group stage encounters as they bid to make their mark on the national stage.

Having received a bye in the opening round of the championship, Waterford will commence their campaign in Round 2 when they welcome Cork to Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field, Dungarvan on Saturday, June 13th. Throw-in is scheduled for 7.30 pm, with the game being broadcast live on TG4.

The eagerly anticipated Munster derby is expected to attract a large attendance as Waterford take on one of the traditional powerhouses of Ladies’ Gaelic Football. The Déise will be hoping to make home advantage count and build momentum in their championship journey.

Waterford’s final group stage fixture takes place on Saturday, June 20th, when they face Armagh. The throw-in is scheduled for 3.00 pm, with the venue expected to be at the BOX-IT, to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Supporters are encouraged to get behind the team and create a strong Déise presence both in Dungarvan and on the road as Waterford embark on their TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship campaign.

Waterford LGFA would like to acknowledge and thank the team’s valued sponsors, Waterford Dairy Farmers, Tirlán, NDC, and Dovea Genetics, for their continued support of Ladies Gaelic Football in the county.
