Darragh O’Sullivan and his management team have announced the Waterford team to face Tipperary in a massive clash in the Electric Ireland Minor Hurling Championship this Friday evening.
The game throws in at 7 pm in Fraher Field, currently known as Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field, with huge stakes attached for the Déise youngsters.
A win for Waterford would secure progression to the All-Ireland stage and keep their championship hopes alive heading into the knockout rounds.
However, defeat could spell the end of their campaign. If Waterford loses and Limerick defeats Cork, Waterford would be eliminated on the head-to-head rule involving Clare.
With qualification scenarios hanging in the balance, Friday night’s encounter promises to be a high-pressure and exciting championship battle in Dungarvan as Waterford attempt to extend their season.
