Waterford FC has confirmed the departure of Head Coach Jon Daly and Assistant Coach Richard Foster with immediate effect after another loss in the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division, leaving the Blues still without a win with 13 games played.
The club issued a brief statement announcing the decision, thanking both Daly and Foster for their efforts during their time at the RSC and wishing them well in the future.
The timing of the move comes ahead of Monday’s SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division clash with Dundalk FC, leaving the team in transition heading into a key fixture.
In the interim, first-team coaches Brian Murphy and David Breen will take charge of the side as preparations continue for the Bank Holiday Monday encounter.
