The draw for Round 2A and 2B of the Tailteann Cup has taken place, with Waterford set to face Sligo in Round 2B.

The Déise will be hoping to keep their championship hopes alive when the sides meet on the weekend of May 23rd and 24th.

Round 2B is effectively the last-chance stage of the competition, with defeat ending a county’s Tailteann Cup campaign.

Elsewhere in Round 2B, Wicklow have been paired with Limerick, Clare will take on Longford, while Carlow face the loser of Down versus Leitrim.

In Round 2A, Antrim are at home to Tipperary, Fermanagh welcome Wexford, London host Laois, and Offaly will play the winner of Down against Leitrim.

The fixtures are expected to be confirmed in the coming days.
