Villa FC made it three domestic cup titles in a row after an impressive 6-0 victory over Portlaw United in the Jimmy Searson Premier Cup Final at Ozier Park.

Played in difficult conditions, Villa delivered a composed and clinical performance from start to finish to successfully defend the trophy, with their quality showing throughout the 90 minutes.

Ed O’Dwyer and Conor Whittle both struck twice, while Conor Kilgannon and Shane O’Sullivan also found the back of the net as Villa pulled clear to secure another piece of silverware.

The victory continues an outstanding run for the club, with the Premier Cup becoming their third successive domestic cup triumph. Their consistency and ability to maintain high standards have been key to their continued success on the local football scene.

While the scoreline reflected Villa’s dominance on the day, Portlaw United can take plenty of positives from reaching their first Jimmy Searson Premier Cup Final. The appearance marks another significant milestone for the club, which continues to make progress at Premier Division level.
