A fabulous 2 days of racing awaits at Tramore Racecourse according to the manager of Tramore Racecourse Owen Byrne.

There will be soft ground on the hurdle track for Sunday while on the Chase track racegoers will be treated to some excellent racing with local horses and trainers to the fore.

Owen took some time to mark our cards for some interesting selections for the first days racing.

The 4yr Old Mares Maiden Hurdle kicks off proceedings with favourite Ballyhahill well backed for jockey Jack Kennedy and trainer Gordon Elliot.

The second race sees keen interest in local trainer Henry de Bromhead’s Polepatrick with Darragh O’Keeffe onboard.

The Handicap chase at 4.28pm sees Tullyveery Lad as his pick of the runners under jockey Donagh Myler
