A local boxer has had the perfect start to her professional career.

Zara Breslin recorded a stoppage victory in her debut fight in Dublin last night in the featherweight division over Joanna Fraszczak from Poland.

The Tramore native dominated with referee Paul McCullagh stopping the fight, 21 seconds into the fifth bout.

The 25 year old only turned pro earlier this year with her final amateur bout against Kellie Harrington in January.

Breslin had taken part in a training camp in Amsterdam with Katie Taylor and her father Pete, in preparation for her debut professional fight.
