In the JJ Kavanagh & Sons County Senior Hurling Championship Group A, the eagerly anticipated clash of Abbeyside-Ballinacourty and De La Salle took place at Azzurri Walsh Park where it finished

While in the other match Ballygunner A defeated Clonea – Ballygunner A 3-21 v 0-15 Clonea

In the Eastern Junior A Championship knockout Fenor defeated Ballydurn on a scoreline of 4-15 to 3-14

Mount Sion defeated Ballyduff Lower 2-25 to 1-20

Meanwhile in the Western Intermediate quarter finals Modeligo lost out to Colligan in Cappoquin where it finished Modeligo 4-9 v 1-23 Colligan

While at Fraher Field it finished An Rinn 1-16 v 1-23 Clashmore/Kinsalebeg

In the Gerry Kennedy Crash Repairs Eastern Intermediate Hurling Championship Roanmore took on Butlerstown where it finished Roanmore 3-12 v 0-16 Butlerstown

The Junior A quarter finals also took place in Cappoquin as Ballyduff Upper faced Stradbally and Lismore took on Ballinameela.
