Sam Widger Wins Five-Year-Old World Championship Final in Lanaken

Waterford rider Sam Widger has claimed a World Championship title at the FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for Young Horses in Lanaken.
Widger partnered Vintage van de Heyveldhoeve to victory in the five-year-old World Championship Final in Belgium.
It is a major achievement for Widger, Vintage and the Ballypatrick team, with Gary Ryan also part of the successful team.
The victory sees Widger crowned a five-year-old World Champion following an outstanding performance in Lanaken.
