Munster will open their Investec Champions Cup campaign against Racing 92 at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Saturday, October 17th at 8pm.

The fixture has now been confirmed following approval from GAA Central Council.

It will be Munster’s second competitive match at the Cork venue, following last season’s Champions Cup meeting with Gloucester.

The province has also enjoyed successful outings at the stadium in recent years, with sell-out crowds for games against a South Africa XV and the Crusaders.

Munster have won all three matches played at the venue so far.

Season members contacted

Munster Rugby has confirmed that 11, 9 and 7 game Munster Rugby Supporters Club members have been contacted with details on their allocated tickets, along with information on how to move or upgrade their tickets.

The process will remain open until 4pm on Tuesday, August 11th.

There are also six season membership options available for supporters.

Details on the general ticket sale for the Racing 92 clash will be announced later this month.
