Liverpool face Nottingham Forest at Anfield at half-past twelve, with Forest having won on their last two visits to Merseyside. Liverpool will be looking to avoid another setback against a side expected to defend deep and threaten on the counter.

At three, Bournemouth host Everton, with Everton looking to make it back-to-back wins after beating Crystal Palace on the opening weekend. Bournemouth, meanwhile, will be looking for a response after their late defeat to Manchester City.

Coventry City host Hull City in another three o’clock fixture, with Hull arriving in confidence after their opening-day win over Manchester United.

Then at half-past five, Tottenham welcome Newcastle. Spurs will be looking to bounce back from their 3-0 defeat to Brentford, while Newcastle come into the game after a positive draw with Liverpool.
