There was another busy day of hurling action across Waterford on Sunday, with important results in the Senior, Premier Intermediate, Minor and Western Junior A Championships.

In the JJ Kavanagh & Sons County Senior Hurling Championship Group B, Lismore produced an impressive attacking display to overcome Dungarvan by 4-18 to 1-14 in Round 4, boosting their hopes of reaching the knockout stages.

The Cappoquin Logistics Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship Knockout also continued, with Shamrocks edging past Tulach An Iarainn by 0-20 to 2-13 in a tightly contested preliminary quarter-final.

In the JJ Kavanagh & Sons County Minor Hurling Championship Division 4, Ballyduff Upper recorded a comprehensive 7-20 to 2-6 victory over Kilrossanty in Round 5.

Meanwhile, in the Local Bar Western Junior A Hurling Championship League Division One, there was nothing to separate Deuglán Naofa and Abbeyside-Ballinacourty as they finished level on 0-19 to 1-16 after an entertaining contest.
