There is a busy night of club hurling action across Waterford this evening, with fixtures taking place in the Senior, Intermediate and Junior Championships.

The headline fixture comes in Group A of the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Senior Hurling Championship, where Passage take on Clonea at 7.30 pm in Azzurri Walsh Park. Both sides will be eager to make an early statement in what promises to be a competitive championship campaign.

In the Cappoquin Logistics Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship, Ballysaggart face Portlaw at 7.30 pm in Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field, Dungarvan. With championship points on offer from the outset, both teams will be looking to get their Group B campaign off to the perfect start.

Elsewhere in the Intermediate ranks, the Gerry Kennedy Crash Repairs Eastern Intermediate Hurling Championship sees Roanmore take on Micheál Mac Craith in Kill, also throwing in at 7.30 pm.

There is also a full programme of Junior Championship action this evening, including Ballinameela against Deuglán Naofa, Kilgobinet hosting Geraldines, Fourmilewater facing An Sean Phobal, Abbeyside-Ballinacourty taking on Affane/Cappoquin/Tourin, Dún Garbhán meeting Tulach an Iarainn, and Ballyduff Lower welcoming De La Salle.
