A busy Saturday of adult hurling championship action awaits across Waterford, with games taking place in the Senior and Intermediate grades.

In the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Waterford Senior Hurling Championship, Ferrybank will meet Abbeyside-Ballinacourty in Group A at 2.30pm in Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field, Dungarvan.

Later that evening, attention turns to Group B as Ballygunner B take on Dungarvan at 7pm in St Molleran’s.

The Cappoquin Logistics Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship also continues, with Brickey Rangers facing Clashmore Kinsalebeg in Group A. That game gets underway at 4pm in Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field.

There is further action in the Comeragh Oil Western Intermediate Hurling Championship, with a double-header in Cappoquin. Colligan Emmetts face Ballyduff Upper at 2pm, followed by Sliabh gCua/St Mary’s against Modeligo at 4pm.

The Gerry Kennedy Crash Repairs Eastern Intermediate Hurling Championship continues on Saturday evening, with St Molleran’s hosting Dunhill in Kill. That game has a 7.30pm throw-in.

With championship points at stake across all four competitions, teams will be looking to put down an early marker as the race for knockout places continues.
