Waterford’s Emmet Cusack has enjoyed a remarkable weekend of success on the world stage.

Cusack has been crowned World Open Weight Champion in the 16–17 age category, overcoming a field of 66 competitors in the Open Weight division.

He also helped Ireland to victory in the senior team event, becoming a World Team Champion at the competition in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

It is a fantastic achievement for Cusack, who has now claimed two world titles on the international stage.
