
Cunnigar Pitch & Putt Club in Dungarvan will host the 2026 National Ladies Strokeplay Championships this weekend, with players from clubs around Ireland travelling to West Waterford to compete for National honours.
The Championships will feature Senior, Intermediate and Junior grades, with the Junior and Intermediate competitors playing their opening 36 holes on Saturday. The Senior Championship will begin with 36 holes on Sunday morning, before all three grades come together for the final 18 holes on Sunday afternoon.
Three defending champions will be looking to retain their titles at Cunnigar. Chrissie Byrne of Ryston is the defending Senior champion, Mairead O’Toole of St Bridget’s holds the Intermediate title, while Charlotte Blake of Tralee returns as defending Junior champion.
The final 18 holes on Sunday afternoon will see three National Champions crowned at Cunnigar, bringing the Championships to a conclusion.
There will also be professional live coverage from Cunnigar on Sunday, produced by Full Time Productions and streamed on the Pitch & Putt Ireland YouTube channel, with two cameras covering the tee and green action.
