A busy day of adult hurling action is in store across Waterford today, Saturday, July 18th, with championship fixtures taking place at venues across the county.

The JJ Kavanagh & Sons Co. Senior Hurling Championship features several important games, with Ferrybank facing Clonea at 2 pm in Portlaw, while Ballygunner B take on Fourmilewater at 2.30 pm in St Mollerans.

De La Salle meet Passage at 5 pm in Azzurri Walsh Park, before Roanmore face Lismore at 6.30 pm in Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field.

There is also a 6.45 pm meeting between Dún Garbhan and Mount Sion at Azzurri Walsh Park.

In the Comeragh Oil Western Intermediate Hurling Championship, Sliabh gCua / St Mary’s play Ballyduff Upper at 1.30 pm in Fraher Field, while Modeligo take on Kilrossanty at 3 pm, also in Fraher Field.

The Local Bar Western Junior A Hurling Championship sees Abbeyside-Ballinacourty face Ballinameela at 7 pm in Cappoquin, with Deuglán Naofa meeting Stradbally at the same time in Bushy Park.

An Sean Phobal and Geraldines meet in the Meadowfresh Foods Junior Hurling Championship B at 3 pm in Cappoquin.

Micheál MacCraith take on Dunhill in the Gerry Kennedy Crash Repairs Eastern Intermediate Hurling Championship at 3 pm in Kill.

The day’s action concludes with a 7.30 pm meeting between Ballydurn and Ballyduff Lower in the Gerry Kennedy Crash Repairs Junior A Championship at Dunhill.
