The Waterford Junior League returns with a packed schedule of fixtures this week, with league points and cup progression up for grabs across the various divisions.
Action gets underway on Tuesday, August 4th, with games in the Azzurri Premier League, Division 1A League and the Jimmy O’Neill Division 2 Cup.
In the Azzurri Premier League, Tramore welcome Hibernians, with kick-off at 7pm.
Ferrybank host Southend in the Azzurri Division 1A League, also at 7pm.
The Jimmy O’Neill Division 2 Cup takes centre stage with four games. Kilbarry Rangers face St Saviours, Johnville take on Piltown, Wat Crystal meet Carrick, and Dungarvan United play Crusaders.
Wednesday night sees another busy programme of action.
In the Azzurri Division 1A League, Villa face Carrick, while St Paul’s take on Piltown.
There are also two Division 1B fixtures, with Ballinroad hosting Villa and Kilmacow welcoming Ferrybank.
The Jimmy O’Neill Division 2 Cup continues as Dungarvan Celtic play Abbeyside, Park Rangers meet Red Star, and Lismore take on Portlaw.
Thursday evening brings further league action.
In Division 1A, Johnville face Tramore, while St Joseph’s meet Tramore Rangers.
The Division 1B League also continues, with Southend playing Mooncoin, Seaview Celtic taking on De La Salle, and Tycor welcoming Bohemians.
The weekend schedule begins on Saturday, August 8th, with Premier League and cup action.
In the Azzurri Premier League, Bohemians host Tramore at 7pm, while Tycor face Wat Crystal in a 2pm kick-off.
The Philip O’Keeffe Division 3 Cup also continues, with three games down for decision.
Tramore Rangers take on Kilmacow, Piltown face Dungarvan Celtic, and Red Star meet Cappoquin/Railway, with all cup games throwing in at 2pm.
With a full programme of fixtures across the divisions, there is plenty to look forward to in Waterford soccer over the coming week.
