Ballygunner and Roanmore will meet in the JJ Kavanagh & Sons Co. Minor Hurling Championship Division 1 final, with both clubs earning their place in the decider after impressive semi-final victories.

Ballygunner booked their final spot with a comprehensive 5-22 to 1-11 victory over Mount Sion. The result underlined their attacking threat and saw them progress in convincing fashion.

Roanmore also produced a strong performance in their semi-final, defeating De La Salle 2-24 to 0-20 to secure their place in the county final.

The two sides will now go head-to-head for minor championship honours, with Ballygunner looking to finish the campaign with another title while Roanmore will be hoping to upset the favourites and claim the county crown.

The final takes place on Wednesday at 6 pm at Azzurri Walsh Park, with Jack Bray listed as referee.
