
People across Waterford looking to take up badminton, or return to the sport, are being encouraged to get involved, with clubs holding regular sessions for adults and juveniles across the county.
Club nights are taking place throughout the week, giving new and returning players plenty of opportunities to get on court, get active and meet others.

Dunmore Badminton Club holds club nights on Wednesday and Friday, while Kilmacthomas Badminton Club also runs sessions on Wednesday and Friday for adults and juveniles.
Waterford Badminton Club has adult and juvenile club nights on Tuesday and Thursday.
In Tramore, the local badminton club holds its weekly session on Wednesday.
There are also regular sessions at Lismore, on Monday and Thursday, and Ballyduff, on Monday and Wednesday, with both clubs catering for adults and juveniles.
Tourin Badminton Club has a Wednesday night session, while Blackwater Badminton Club is also listed as holding a Wednesday juvenile session, although that night is yet to be confirmed.
The sport is being promoted as a way to combine fitness and fun while meeting new people, with beginners and those returning to badminton encouraged to pick up a racket and get involved.
