Runners will take to the roads in An Rinn this evening for a unique six-mile road race, supported by West Waterford AC.

The event gets underway at 7.30 pm from Barracks Cross in An Rinn, with participants heading downhill towards An Coinigéar Strand before returning along the route to finish back at Barracks Cross.

Race numbers will be available for collection at Halla na Pobail na Rinne between 6.15 pm and 7.15 pm.

Organisers are encouraging runners to come along and take part in what promises to be a challenging and scenic six-mile route through the area.
