It's rarely out of the news here locally BUT what exactly is the up-to-date situation re: Waterford Airport and it's funding?! As people are aware, the airport is fully operational though there are no commercial or scheduled airline flights from there - and haven't been - since June 2016. Without the commercial income, Waterford Airport has had to rely, since then, on other funding streams - and one of these has been Waterford City County Council.
